Testing tip: If you find a test that you think should work, but just received the 'no OpenCL device found' error on the test before, try exiting the app, and re-starting it. So, the "Post FX" tests run but don't run correctly, obviously.Īnd the ATI boys can run them all, but the 2 listed only show a black background: ![]() They will indeed run and show me around 45fps, BUT all I see is a black background with nothing visible but the color black. We could see how our OpenCL performance numbers change, as new drivers get released. (Providing all tests will soon work for Nvidia guys too.) I would just like to say that I love the app, and am thrilled to see one more OpenCL program, for us to test out on our systems.Ī benchmark button, and then cycle through all tests, generating a score might be fun? Looks like my CPU can't run OpenCL? All tests with ' CPU' in it's name, failed to run on my system. ![]() Is there any test in the drop down menu, that you can't run? It has to be the way the app was written? Made to utilize (2) GPU's, but no more.Īlso thanks for the conformation that the ATI boys can run the 'OpenGL 3.x + OpenCL GPU - 4D Quaternion Julia Set' test. (You are at 77% total GPU utilization -vs- me at 78% total GPU utilization.) On the ' OpenGL 3.x + OpenCL GPU - Mesh Deformer' test, I find it interesting we both run with (3) GPU's, and both had (2) loaded up by the app.ĭarn close. Hopefully ATI will release their Stream SDK 2.0 whql here soon because right now this OpenCL is running on the Stream SDK 2.0 beta4. On the very first OpenCL test, the Quaternian, my CPU is at 0-3%, GPU #1 at 0%, GPU #2 at 0%, GPU #3 at 96%, and it goes anywhere from 88-100FPS 600圆00 with 4xAA. My CPU is at 8% & GPU #1 is at 44%, GPU #2 at 0%, GPU #3 at 33% OpenGL 1.2 - Simple Mesh: (Used 1 GPU 33%.) OpenGL 2.1 - CEL-SHADING: (Used 1 GPU 39%.) OpenGL 3.x + OpenCL GPU - 4D Quaternion Julia Set. ![]() The ' OpenGL 3.x - Triangle of Death' test looks to be a 1 GPU app. (Thats unexpected!)Īll 4 cores still working, and utilization at 39%, up from 38%. The second 1/2 of my 295 is now showing 53% utilization, up from 42%.Īnd PhysX processor is now showing 31% utilization, down from 36. The exact same test, only at 1920x1200, with 8XAA to see the difference. (Go PhysX GPU!)Īll 4 cores of my CPU are showing some utilization too. The second 1/2 of my 295 is showing 42% utilization.Īnd PhysX processor is showing 36% utilization. The first 1/2 of my 295 is showing no utilization. I selected the ' OpenGL 3.x + OpenCL GPU - Mesh Deformer' test, 600圆00 with 4xAA. That is the first test that I found that I can run, working from top to bottom in the drop down selector. ![]() I need to go down to the ' OpenGL 3.x + OpenCL GPU - Mesh Deformer' test to get the program to run. Update again!: It's the drop down test box that is causing the issue. I am dieing to see if this till use all 3 of my GPU's, and if so, in what tests? I also have some extra CUDA info displayed in my ' version/profile' field. I see I am on a newer driver than the web page was running too. ![]()
